An iconic jewel of the Second Empire, created in 1855 by jeweler Alexandre-Gabriel Lemonnier for the World's Fair. Commissioned by Napoleon III for his wife, it was housed at the Louvre Museum until its theft in October 2025, after which it was recovered completely misshapen.
